Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, driving sales growth, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain brand standards and policies across all aspects of restaurant operations
  • Lead by example, consistently delivering industry-leading guest service and ensuring that all team members meet the same high standards
  • Manage store operational requirements, including scheduling, employee management, and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and health and hygiene standards
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, identifying opportunities to improve guest experience and drive sales growth
  • Manage controllable costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to maintain profitability
  • Provide excellent management guidance to team members, including training, development, and leadership
  • Maintain a secure, safe, and healthy environment for team members and guests
  • Identify and address guest complaints and comments, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and professionally

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and driving sales growth
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and hygiene standards, with the ability to maintain compliance
