Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the kitchen team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory levels, and labor expenses, ensuring that the kitchen operates within budget.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the kitchen team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure that all staff members have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure that the kitchen is aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that the kitchen is meeting all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity, reducing waste and minimizing downtime.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, with the ability to implement and maintain high standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
