Overview

Newcastle Futures Limited is recruiting a pool of experienced individuals to our casual learning register.

We are looking for inventive and creative workshop facilitators who can adapt to facilitate learning across a wide range of subject content.

Experience of working with children is essential as well as effective written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description

As a Casual Assistant Learning Officer, you will be involved in delivery, development and planning for events and activities across the venues which may be for specific short term or funded projects.

Sessions can take place at weekends, bank holidays as well as weekdays (typically during core working hours of 9am-5pm).

You will be responsible for presenting creative, dynamic and inspiring learning opportunities to a wide range of people.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • An interest in museum collections
