**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to fill the role of Sales and Marketing Executive at Solihull College & University Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts to promote our conference centre facilities and attract a wide range of clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase bookings and revenue for the conference centre.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, employers, and external stakeholders to identify new business opportunities.
  • Assist in reaching departmental targets and the Conference Centre budget by generating new business leads and promoting our facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Director to develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of the businesses in the West Midlands region and experience of attending business networking events is desirable.
