The Role: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic head office team. As we continue to grow and expand, this role is crucial in identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales leads from both large corporations and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
  • Identify key decision-makers within organizations and understand their security guarding requirements.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospects and clients to drive future business opportunities.
  • Develop new business opportunities by prospecting, nurturing leads, and presenting proposals to the CEO.
  • Manage existing client accounts and ensure a positive working relationship that fosters further sales potential.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team to create competitive pricing and quotes.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of prospective clients and industry insights.
  • Build strong internal relationships across the Commercial and Operational teams.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to develop and distribute effective marketing materials that promote our services to a wider audience.
  • Support the Commercial Team in preparing tenders and related documents.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO on sales progress and key initiatives.

  • A demonstrable history of consistently exceeding sales goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in prospecting, negotiating, and closing contracts within the security industry or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a professional demeanor.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A passion for learning about our business and engaging with both prospective and existing clients.
