Part Time Health and Safety Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to promote good working practices within our organisation. This is a part-time position for approximately 24 hours per week, which can be spread over 3 longer days or 4/5 shorter days.
The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH qualification, previous experience in health and safety policies and procedures, and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating policies and procedures;
- Promoting a positive safety culture;
- Serving as the primary point of contact for health and safety advice;
- Ensuring team compliance with safety regulations;
- Providing training to managers and staff.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar position;
- NEBOSH qualification;
- Experience delivering training programs;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
While experience within the education sector is desirable, it is not essential. We strive to provide a supportive environment that fosters growth and development.
