About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our team as the Assistant Director (People Operations, Data & Systems) at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the People Operations and Data & Systems services, focusing on efficient operations, continuous process improvement, and an enhanced employee experience.
  • Manage recruitment, HR systems, people operations, information, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and support university-wide projects.
  • Drive the university's People Strategy, working closely with the Director of People & Organisational Development and their wider leadership team.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with data systems and proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent management and interpersonal skills, with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to quickly grasp data requests and communicate complex data and insights in a clear and compelling way.
  • Creativity, innovation, curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic HR team currently supporting the university through a major change programme, requiring resilience, flexibility, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
