The RoleAs the HR Director, you will be responsible for developing and leading the company's HR & People strategy, ensuring it aligns with our business goals and growth trajectory. You will build and grow a small but highly effective HR team and deliver a first-class HR service that supports our scaling operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
- Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
- Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organisation
- Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
- Proven experience as a senior HR leader, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment (scale-up experience preferred)
- A background in Private Equity-backed businesses and experience in value creation, scaling, and exit preparation is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated success in building and developing a high-performing HR function from scratch
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align HR strategy to business outcomes
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and able to switch between strategic leadership and day-to-day HR activities
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner with senior executives
