Job Title: EMEA Head of Employee Relations

We are seeking an experienced EMEA Head of Employee Relations to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a professional Human Resources Advisory and Policy service to a range of identified customers, supporting them on complex HR issues by providing professional advice and guidance for their day-to-day operational management.

The postholder will be allocated a specific Senior HR Advisor or HR Advisor but is expected to work closely with other Employee Relations Managers to effectively manage the work allocation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice and guidance on employment legislation, HR policy, and procedures to support the business.
  2. Advise managers through change processes and on employee relations issues and investigations, with an understanding of the business and implications involved.
  3. Deliver a range of successful HR interventions within a large organization, to a range of services and audiences at all levels.
  4. Stay up-to-date with HR and industry trends and best practices, to inform analysis, review, and advice to management on operations and services.
  5. Work in a highly unionized environment, with experience of delivering HR services and understanding of Public Sector terms and conditions.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including management, employees, and unions.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A detailed and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, HR policy, and procedures.
  • Significant experience of advising managers through change processes and on employee relations issues and investigations.
  • Experience of delivering a range of successful HR interventions within a large organization.
  • An up-to-date understanding of HR and industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience of working in a highly unionized environment, with knowledge of Public Sector terms and conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
