About the Role: As a Digital Preservation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the long-term preservation of government information and enabling continued access to it. You will work closely with the Web Archiving Team and our supplier, MirrorWeb, to ensure the website capture process takes place effectively and high-quality standards are maintained.

Your primary duties will include performing quality assurance checks on archived websites and social media posts, using specialist software such as Webrecorder and ScreamingFrog to capture and QA websites, and accurately updating an in-house database. You will also need to detect and alert other team members to problems with the quality of archived websites and support the web archiving process to ensure smooth execution from preparation to publication.

We offer a competitive salary, approximately $60,000, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
