We are seeking a skilled Archives Data Transfer Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the transfer of digital records from users to the National Archives' digital archive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the transfer of digital records from users to the National Archives' digital archive
  • Provide training and advice on tools and processes
  • Act as the first point of contact for support for users of our TDR online service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have a strong understanding of digital preservation principles and practices, as well as experience working with digital record systems.

In terms of qualifications, we are looking for a degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information management, or archival studies. You should also have relevant professional certifications, such as those offered by the Digital Preservation Coalition.

Benefits

As a full-time employee of the National Archives, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.
