Parking Operations Manager
Apcoa Parking is seeking a skilled Parking Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and effective operation of car parking and related activities across the GTR estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of car park patrol attendants, ensuring correct front-line staffing levels and site visits are completed to meet KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise front-line staff during core business hours, assisted by the Operations Manager where required.
- Carry out regular site audits to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Monitor performance, service, and quality of the Company's sites and staff, taking action to communicate and advise as necessary.
- Identify, respond, and resolve on-site car parking issues.
- Report incidents to the Operations Manager and record them correctly on QM.
- Recruit, induct, train, and manage staff, handling disciplinary issues in line with site and Company policy.
- Ensure all company policies and employee communications are effectively conveyed to frontline staff.
- Manage car park/security incidents, including attendance and liaison with emergency services as required.
- Ensure frontline staff comply with health and safety procedures and standards.
- Assist the Operations Manager in resolving Parkway and ANPR-related issues within the agreed SLA.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience supervising a team.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
- Previous experience with H&S policies.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
