We are seeking a skilled and experienced Premises Officer to join our team at Leicestershire County Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of school premises, including cleaning, repairs, and minor maintenance tasks.
- Manage the school's facilities, including scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide support to the school's administration team, including managing supplies, equipment, and other resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the school's facilities and services, in line with the council's objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in facilities management and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Working Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 10.00am and 3.00pm to 6.00pm.
Contract Type: Permanent.
Salary: Grade 7 Point 11, equivalent to £12.80 per hour.
