Regulatory Compliance Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team at Leicestershire County Council.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking inspections of premises, seizing illicit products, and providing businesses with advice on legal responsibilities to encourage compliance.
You will also be involved in test purchase operations, criminal investigations, and alternative sanctions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Education to NVQ level 4 or equivalent
- Experience in the regulatory compliance or law enforcement sector
- Experience of providing advice in an enforcement role
- Understanding of the legal system and protocols for investigations
- Experience of analysing data and interpreting information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to new situations
