We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant General Anaesthetist to join our team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our anaesthetic department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients undergoing general and orthopaedic surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultant-level anaesthetic care to patients undergoing general and orthopaedic surgery
- Participate in the development and implementation of anaesthetic services, including the management of emergency and elective cases
- Collaborate with other medical and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and medical students
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives within the department
