We are seeking a highly organized and professional School Receptionist to join our team at Equal Education Partners. As the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management: Greet all visitors, students, and staff with a warm and professional attitude, ensuring that the reception area is welcoming and orderly whilst monitoring the visitor sign-in procedure.
  • Telephone Handling: Answer and direct incoming calls with a polite and professional manner, providing accurate information or transferring calls to the appropriate departments.
  • SIMS Management: Maintain and update student records, attendance, and other essential data using the SIMS software. Ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Communication and General Office Duty Support: Handle inquiries from parents, students, and staff, both in person and over the phone, promptly and efficiently.
  • Mail and Correspondence: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and school communications, ensuring they are delivered to the correct departments or individuals.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the office and administrative staff with tasks such as data entry, filing, and distributing documents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong telephone manner with the ability to remain calm, polite, and professional under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
