Engineering Manager – Electrical Systems

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team responsible for designing and developing electrical power systems for our submarines. This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of electrical power systems and their application in submarine design.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with our design and manufacturing teams to develop innovative solutions for electrical power systems.
Responsibilities- Developing and implementing electrical power systems designs.
- Working closely with our manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Collaborating with our design teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering background.
- Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and access to additional benefits such as flexible working, employee assistance programme, cycle2work, and employee discounts.
