Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in delivering advanced mission systems engineering capabilities to our customers. The role will involve leading and supporting the development of mission system concept options, architectures, and designs for the Future Combat Air System programme.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity for a skilled engineer to lead and contribute to the delivery of complex systems engineering projects. You will be responsible for managing and directing less experienced engineers, as well as creating and maintaining engineering documents that form part of the systems engineering process.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Development of Mission System Concepts: Develop and evolve technologies to deliver advanced mission systems engineering capabilities.
- Support Team Meetings and Reviews: Participate in and lead team meetings, DSUMs, and agile reviews to ensure effective project delivery.
- Manage and Direct Engineers: Supervise and direct less experienced systems engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Create and Maintain Engineering Documents: Produce high-quality engineering documents that meet the requirements of the systems engineering process.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience. You should also possess systems engineering and engineering lifecycle experience, as well as knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools.
