About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Computing Infrastructure Team Leader to join our Synthetic Training Devices team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the computing infrastructure for our High-Fidelity Synthetic Training Devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead a small team of Systems and Software Engineers to develop and maintain the computing infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure Development: Develop, integrate, and test all aspects of the computing infrastructure.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the team and engineering management to identify potential risks and provide regular feedback on progress.
  • Technical Expertise: Have a good working knowledge of Aircrew Training Simulation Systems related product deliverables.
  • Project Management: Manage the engineering backlog and achievement through the JIRA toolset.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Team Management: Ability to manage and motivate a small to medium-sized team.
  • Communication: Highly effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in software management techniques and toolsets such as Agile and Atlassian.
