Job Description:
The Strategic Green Initiative Coordinator will be responsible for managing and implementing the council's green initiatives, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices across the organisation.

About the Role:
This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management, funding applications, and policy development, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement green initiatives to reduce carbon emissions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and secure external funding for green projects
- Manage and optimise utility consumption and billing processes
- Represent the council at regional and national forums, collaborating with other local authorities and stakeholders

Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, funding applications, and policy development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
