Job Overview:
The Green Policy Development Lead will play a key role in developing and implementing environmental policies and initiatives that promote sustainability and reduce carbon emissions at Tameside Community Safety Partnership.

About the Role:
This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in policy development, project management, and stakeholder engagement, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental policies and initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and secure external funding for green projects
- Represent the council at regional and national forums, collaborating with other local authorities and stakeholders

Requirements:
- Proven experience in policy development, project management, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
