About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Lead to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Job Description:

  • Lead a team of support workers to deliver person-centred care and support plans, ensuring that individuals' needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and implement individualised support plans, working closely with individuals, families, and other professionals to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of individual progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a seamless service, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and relevant legislation.
  • Provide training and supervision to support workers, promoting their development and enabling them to deliver high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development of the organisation, sharing expertise and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care principles, regulatory requirements, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and on-call duties.

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
