About the Role
Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our CAMHS Gateway Service as a Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking team, providing psychological interventions to children and young people with common mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake a 12-month training course at the University of Exeter, studying the Postgraduate Diploma in Brief Evidence-Based Interventions for CYP with Common Mental Health Problems (CWP). During this time, they will be trained under supervision to deliver brief evidence-based therapeutic interventions within a stepped care model.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and motivation for the role, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must also be able to work under pressure and manage their own caseload and time effectively.
