About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wellbeing Practitioner to join our CAMHS Gateway team. As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, brief evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, brief outcome-focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, primarily anxiety and depression.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary Community team, delivering interventions under supervision.
  • Be familiar with the CYP IAPT core principles and have the relevant specialist training.
  • Use and understand the value of outcome measures.
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working with children, young people, and families who experience mental health difficulties, especially depression and anxiety.
  • Facilitate group work and have a car driver's license with access to a car.
