Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our team of psychology staff in the county. This is a senior role that requires expertise in supervision, specialist knowledge, and skills in working with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will contribute at a senior level, providing leadership and guidance to our team. They will be responsible for supervising and line managing a small number of psychology staff, including psychologists, psychological therapists, trainee clinical psychologists, or assistant psychologists.

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health, and specialty services. We are keen to recruit someone with experience in a principal role who can make a significant contribution to our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, and the salary range is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The location is flexible, but the post will be based in Northamptonshire.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology. They will also have experience of representing psychology within a multi-disciplinary care context.
