Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead our ruminant sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ruminant nutrition, accompanied by previous sales and people management experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established feed manufacturer and distributor based in the Midlands, who are committed to producing high-quality feed products and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the ruminant sales team, driving commercial decisions, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to develop feed formulations and provide technical advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the ruminant sales team to achieve high performance and continuous development
  • Drive commercial decisions, including key account management, sales growth, pricing decisions, and long-term strategy
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop feed formulations and provide technical advice
Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience in the feed sector
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of ruminant nutrition
  • Formulation experience
Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a bonus and company car.
