Hotel Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Hotel Maintenance Manager to join our team at Macdonald Compleat Angler Hotel. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the maintenance schedules and tasks of the department
  • Conduct site inspections to identify areas requiring extra maintenance work
  • Perform minor on-site repairs and schedule contractors for major repairs as required
  • Discuss maintenance concerns with your line manager and stay on-call to respond to emergency maintenance needs
  • Develop maintenance budgets, hire maintenance crew, and negotiate vendor contracts
  • Control and monitor inventory and coordinate work performed by outside vendors
Requirements:
  • 1 year of maintenance experience
  • Ability to work a 8 hour shift, including weekends
  • Reliable commute or relocation to Marlow, SL7 1RG
