**Purpose of the role**:
Ensuring the supply of linen to the hotel is maintained in accordance with set par stocks.
Periodic inventory of Linen and Stores.
To follow standard operational procedures within Housekeeping department to ensure efficiency and consistency of the department
As Linen Porter you are confident and enjoy supporting the team to ensure the guest experience throughout the stay.
**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:
- Sort’s items and counts and records number of items soiled, reporting any damaged or dirty.
- Carrying out guest requests such as extra beds, pillows, bathroom supplies
- Reporting any damaged or missing items to the Floor Supervisor.
- Report any issue in the room to your supervisor or Line Manager
- Have knowledge or room types and other facilities, guest service within the hotel
- Undertaking regular deep cleaning tasks
- Use of machinery as a Carpet and Floor Cleaner
- Use of Washing and Dry Machines
- Report any defects in equipment
- Maintaining all equipment and work areas clean and tidy
- Be environmentally aware
- To ensure good working relationship with all other departments.
- Work flexible hours in accordance with the departmental rota
- Compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.
**Key Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- Excellent communication skills
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Ability to work under pressure

- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations

**Salary**: £21,673.60 per year
