Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Practitioner to join our team in Coleford. As a Support Practitioner, you will provide exceptional support to individuals with moderate to severe learning disabilities, enabling them to live their best life possible.

You will work closely with the individuals we support, helping them to discover new interests, achieve their goals, and engage in various leisure activities that promote their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication administration
  • Encouraging individuals to participate in leisure activities, such as sports and community events
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or incidents

Requirements:

  • Degree in health, education, or social care (desirable)
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities (essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays
