Care and Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team in Coleford, Forest of Dean. As a Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to individuals with moderate to severe learning disabilities.

Your role will involve supporting individuals to discover new interests, reach goals like travelling and holidays, and working positively with their families and friends. You will also help individuals engage in different leisure, home or work-related activities according to their personal choice.

As a key member of our team, you will provide physical and emotional support, including helping with household tasks and personal care, as well as supporting individuals with healthcare needs such as taking medication. A full UK driving licence is desirable for this role, as public transport is very restricted. We offer flexible working arrangements, including early, late, and weekend shifts, as well as sleep ins at the service.

We offer a competitive salary of £14 per hour, plus 12.07% holiday pay, and a range of benefits including annual leave, wage incentives, apprenticeships, training, and wellbeing services.
