Housing Income Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Housing Income Officer to join our team at Wandle Housing Association Ltd. As a key member of our housing customer service delivery team, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent services to our residents and ensuring that they receive the support they need to manage their finances effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage rent accounts and other housing-related debts, ensuring that all cases are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
- Make regular contact with residents in arrears, using a range of communication methods to ensure that they understand their financial obligations and are supported in meeting them.
- Maximise income collection while minimising the risk of repossession, using a range of strategies and resources to support residents in managing their finances.
- Deliver against annual team and individual targets for income collection, working closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of housing law and the regulatory framework, with experience of presenting cases to court and knowledge of the court system and legal remedies relating to debt recovery.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service to residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and support.
