Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Income Officer to play a key role in maximizing our income through effective rent collection, service charge management, and debt recovery. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and manage rent, service charges, and other income owed to SW9 Community Housing
  • Work with residents to prevent arrears and provide support with welfare benefits
  • Liaise with local authorities and other stakeholders to resolve debt issues
  • Prepare and serve notices, possession proceedings, and other legal documents as required
  • Represent SW9 Community Housing in court and at tribunals
Requirements
  • Maths and English GCSE (Grade C or above) or equivalent
  • Degree or equivalent, training, or experience in a related field
  • Professional housing qualification or willingness to work towards
