Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Formby

Hays Education are currently working with a secondary school in Formby who are seeking a long-term, full-time teaching assistant to join their team. The role will commence as soon as possible.

About the Role">

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to work closely with the class teacher and support students with various needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual and group support to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and delivery
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 1 year of experience working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school setting
  • Strong ability to work with students who require additional support
  • Proficiency in maths and English skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles
  • Able to commit to full-time availability
