At Holistic Support Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to young people in our residential services.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and have a genuine passion for working with vulnerable children and young adults. They will be able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
We offer competitive rates of pay, starting at £60 per night for sleep-in duties, with the potential for permanent positions to arise when contracted hours vacancies become available. In addition, you will benefit from access to a pension scheme, staff discounts, free meals, and excellent training opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and committed individual to make a real difference in the lives of young people. If you possess the necessary skills, qualifications, and experience, we would love to hear from you.
Please note that a full UK driver's license is preferred due to the rural location of some of our services. However, this is not essential, and we encourage applications from candidates who may not hold a driver's license.
As a Residential Care Professional, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring daily reports, health and safety checks, care plans, and daily logs are completed and up to date.
- Providing support and ensuring the young person's needs are always met.
- Covering shifts as and when necessary to cover full-time staff absence due to annual leave or sickness.
- Working day and night shifts on an ad hoc basis.
We welcome applications from experienced professionals looking for a new challenge, as well as those just starting their career in residential care. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of young people, please do not hesitate to apply.
