We are seeking an experienced EMEAR Business Development Representative to join our team in Chichester, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with potential customers in the European, Middle Eastern, African, and Russian markets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of low volume liquid handling and a commercial understanding of the industry. They will work cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to develop leads into opportunities and manage the sales funnel.
Responsibilities:
- Identify top target customers within key industries
- Research and identify emerging markets and geographies
- Educate target customers and present BioDot's technology
- Develop long-term funnels for future bookings
- Develop key relationships with end-users, academics, and industrial partners
- Connect sales teams with high-potential accounts
- Identify beta customers for new technologies and product releases
- Develop customer acquisition strategies
- Attend trade shows and industry conferences
- Built sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with customers
- Presentation of solutions that suit customer applications and demonstrate value proposition and ROI
Requirements:
- Minimum undergraduate degree in business or sciences
- Experience maintaining customer relation management (CRM) territory management tools
- Experience with automated liquid handling platforms preferred
- Selling experience in laboratory and/or manufacturing environments
- Lifescience knowledge is preferred
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
- Estimated salary range: £45,000-£60,000 per annum
- 5% non-contributory pension scheme
