About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research and Advocacy Officer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our policy and research department, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our research and policy strategy.

You will be responsible for conducting desk-based research to support policy objectives, including literature reviews and scoping research. You will also provide administrative support to our research committees and assist in the organisation's advocacy work on behalf of members and services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting desk-based research to support policy objectives;
  • Providing administrative support to our research committees;
  • Assisting in the organisation's advocacy work on behalf of members and services;
  • Liaising with stakeholders within parliament, public bodies, higher education institutions, and the wider mental health sector;

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about mental health service provision in the UK and has a good working understanding of policymaking, public affairs, and campaigning. You will need excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write for a range of non-academic and academic audiences.

This is a full-time position based in London (with hybrid working arrangements), offering a competitive salary of £33,824 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours).
