Clerk of Works Specialist

About the Role
Govanhill Housing Association is seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to join our Asset Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality construction projects, ensuring compliance with building standards, and providing excellent customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and access properties at multiple levels and externally via scaffold
- Deliver clerk of works services, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards
- Work closely with our Asset Team to deliver new build, common tenement improvements, refurbishment of acquired properties, and capital investment projects
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and internal teams
Requirements
- Relevant qualification and practical experience in clerk of works or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desirable: ability to speak a community language
