At Birmingham Conference & Events Centre, we're seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for organising client meetings and events, creating bespoke quotes, and responding to client inquiries. You will work closely with the M&E Sales Office Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences and meet revenue targets.

About the Role

You will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. You will create and deliver presentations, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and growth. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential in this role, as you will be working with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to achieve sales targets.

About You

  • Previous sales experience in a large hotel or conference venue, with a passion for sales and a strong desire to exceed.
  • Ability to deal with sales leads in a professional, organised, and timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident telephone manner.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with great time management skills.
  • Great team working skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
