Job Title: Rural Clerk of Works

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rural Clerk of Works to join our team in the Highlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance works, programmes, and projects related to rural assets including agricultural buildings, residential farmhouses, and commercial property.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a wide range of rural infrastructure works such as bridges, roads, tracks, and paths.

The ideal candidate will have experience in works management, ability to deliver planned preventative maintenance programmes, and a range of repair and improvement works. They should also possess excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage maintenance works, programmes, and projects including agricultural building repair, silage pit upgrades, residential renovation, external decoration, and track repairs.
  • Ensure achievement of delegated key client deliverables/projects timeously and on budget.
  • Experience of works management and ability to deliver planned preventative maintenance programmes and a range of repair and improvement works.
  • Ability to manage a programme of multiple repairs and projects at any one time across a range of asset types, prioritising effectively and working to high standards under pressure.
