The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package, estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description
This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced rural land management professional to join our dynamic team in Inverness. As Associate Director, you will play a key role in managing our clients' rural estates, providing strategic advice and support to ensure the successful delivery of their goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as senior asset manager for estate management clients, reporting to and working closely with senior colleagues;
- Assisting in the management of a diverse range of rural assets, undertaking rent reviews, lease negotiations, resolving disputes, managing repair, maintenance and improvement programmes and progressing strategic objectives;
- Ensuring achievement of key client deliverables;
- Adherence to internal and client process and compliance standards;
- Seeking opportunities leading to business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- MRICS qualified rural surveyor with experience of delivering work across a range of projects;
- Demonstrate team leadership potential, capable of building relationships with existing and new clients and generating new opportunities;
- Possess a composed manner in order to be able to work under pressure;
- Good time management and ability to prioritise workloads;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills - must be capable of building and maintaining good relationships with team members, other colleagues and clients;
- Confident manner with clients and the team;
- Flexible approach to work and hours undertaken;
- An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion;
- Relevant undergraduate/postgraduate degree or equivalent;
- Certificate of public practice (CPP) or registered valuer; and
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
