About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Lead to join our team at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our Digital Security team, you will be responsible for leading our Cyber Security efforts and ensuring the protection of our data and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement Cyber Security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of our data and systems.
  2. Lead the Cyber Security team and provide guidance and support to ensure the effective management of Cyber Security risks.
  3. Collaborate with the Digital Leadership Team to develop and implement the Group Digital Strategy, ensuring that Cyber Security is integrated into all aspects of the strategy.
  4. Provide expert advice and guidance on Cyber Security matters to the Group and its stakeholders.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and other external partners.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest Cyber Security threats and technologies, and ensure that our systems and processes are aligned with best practice.
Requirements
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent level of experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Cloud and on-premise security standards.
  • A broad understanding of ICT and specialist knowledge in several key Cyber Security technologies.
