About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Trauma Response Coordinator to join our team in Ulverston, South Cumbria.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating trauma responses, ensuring that victims receive timely and effective support services.

As part of our commitment to creating a supportive environment, we offer a salary range of £30,000 - £36,000 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working options, 28 days annual leave, and a pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate trauma responses, ensuring timely and effective support services for victims of sexual violence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local partners, including police, hospitals, and community organizations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trauma responses, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in trauma response, victim advocacy, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and tasks.
  • Knowledge of local resources and services, including support groups and counseling services.
  • Approved and accredited ISVA qualification or willingness to work towards accreditation.
