Victim Support is committed to providing exceptional support services to victims of crime across England and Wales.

This exciting opportunity as a Victim Advocate Lead will enable you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by sexual violence.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, utilizing their expertise in trauma response and victim advocacy to drive positive change.

We offer a comprehensive rewards package, including a salary range of £34,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus flexible working options, a pension scheme, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective support strategies for victims of sexual violence, focusing on risk assessment and crisis management.
  • Collaborate with survivors, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions between services.
  • Liaise with local authorities, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals to enhance coordination and reduce duplication of efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Masters-level education in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in victim advocacy, trauma response, and crisis management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Approved and accredited ISVA qualification or willingness to work towards accreditation.
