Victim Support is seeking a highly skilled Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) to join their North Cumberland team, working closely with survivors of sexual violence and supporting them through the complexities of the criminal justice system.

As an ISVA, you will be responsible for providing specialist support and guidance, helping individuals access vital services and ensuring they receive the care and support they need.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, healthcare professionals, and other support services.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can demonstrate a deep understanding of the issues surrounding sexual violence and trauma, and who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of survivors.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience working with survivors of sexual violence or similar client groups

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders

• Ability to work autonomously, using expertise and judgment to provide high-quality support and advice

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and reports, adhering to organisational policies and procedures

What we offer:

At Victim Support, we offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including paid annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.
