About the Position

The Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) role at Victim Support is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires an individual with exceptional communication skills and a passion for supporting survivors of sexual violence.

You will work closely with survivors, other agencies, and partners to deliver a service that meets the needs of those at highest risk and need. This involves conducting risk assessments, helping clients access their rights and required services, and working within a multi-agency framework to deliver a service to those at highest risk and need.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of victims experiencing sexual violence and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to survivors of sexual violence.
  • Conduct risk assessments and help clients access their rights and required services.
  • Work within a multi-agency framework to deliver a service to those at highest risk and need.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in working with victims of sexual violence.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of planning and delivering caseloads.
  • An approved and accredited ISVA qualification (desirable).
