Victim Support, a respected charity dedicated to supporting those affected by crime and trauma, is currently seeking a highly skilled Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) to join their North Cumberland team.

As an ISVA, you will play a critical role in providing specialist support and guidance to survivors of sexual violence, helping them access vital services and navigate the complex criminal justice system.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, healthcare professionals, and other support services.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can demonstrate a deep understanding of the issues surrounding sexual violence and trauma, and who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of survivors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist support and guidance to survivors of sexual violence

• Develop and implement effective support plans to meet the needs of individual clients

• Work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies, healthcare professionals, and other support services to ensure seamless service delivery

• Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to organisational policies and procedures

What we offer:

At Victim Support, we offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including paid annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.
