Job Description

This role involves working with patients and their loved ones to provide personalized support. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to patients and their loved ones
  • Offering practical information and signposting to local services
  • Promoting the Hospital Companion service within the hospital setting and local community
  • Completing reports on each hospital visit
  • Attending volunteer wellbeing sessions, team meetings, and training
