As a Hospital Companion with Marie Curie, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals at the end of life and their loved ones in Plymouth's hospitals.
Your compassion, empathy, and communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with patients and their families, providing personalized support tailored to their unique needs.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Offering emotional support, companionship, and reassurance to individuals facing end-of-life challenges
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care services
- Identifying and addressing gaps in support through effective signposting and resource referrals
- Maintaining accurate records and submitting reports as required

Salary Range: £11.20 - £13.00 per hour
Requirements:
- Participate in informal interviews with our team members
- Undergo a DBS check and submit required documentation online
- Complete essential training and certification programs
