Support Patients in Need

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide companionship, emotional support, and a reassuring presence to people at end of life and their loved ones in hospitals in Plymouth. As a Hospital Companion, you will play a vital role in enhancing the experience of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer practical information, support, and signposting to other local services
  • Promote the Hospital Companion service within the hospital setting and the local community
  • Complete and return a short report after each hospital visit
Becoming Part of Our Team

You will have access to a PC, laptop, tablet, or phone and basic IT skills. As a valued member of Marie Curie, you will receive continued training, development, and support. A DBS check is required, and you will need to complete core and role-specific Marie Curie training. Estimated salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum.
