About the Role

As a Hospital Companion, you will be responsible for providing person-centered support to patients and their families.

This may include:

  • Providing practical information and signposting to local services
  • Promoting the Hospital Companion service within the hospital setting and local community
  • Completing and returning regular reports on visits
  • Attending volunteer wellbeing sessions, team meetings, and refresher training

You will also have access to basic IT skills and be willing to complete core and role-specific Marie Curie training.
